Fragments of a Galaxy
An exhibition by Kelly Lewis
What if the universe isn’t out there, but inside you?
In Fragments of a Galaxy, artist Kelly Lewis (K.A. Lewis) explores the vastness of space through a deeply personal lens. Using fluid painting techniques, she translates emotion, memory, and intuition into works that feel born from stardust — not studied, but remembered.
Each piece in this exhibition is its own celestial body:
Swirls of colour suggest collapsing stars, blooming galaxies, and radiant echoes.
Textured blacks and whites reflect the mystery of constellations and the stories they conceal.
Violet-hued paintings capture the weight of unspoken thoughts — the kind that arrive before understanding.
A single miniature galaxy sits in stillness, inviting contemplation in a sea of motion.
These are not depictions of space — they are impressions of its presence. Felt, not measured. Dreamed, not charted.
Fragments of a Galaxy invites you to pause… and consider that maybe, the cosmos is thinking back.
